Confined space training facility installed at Liverpool Airport
Posted 23/01/2026
We are pleased to announce the successful delivery and installation of a new confined space training facility at Liverpool Airport, enhancing the airport’s ability to deliver realistic and effective emergency response and safety training.
The purpose-built confined space trainer has been designed to replicate the challenges faced during real-world confined space operations, including restricted access, limited visibility, and complex internal layouts. The facility provides a controlled environment where trainees can develop critical skills such as entry procedures, casualty recovery, communication, and team coordination.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the training unit supports a range of confined space scenarios suitable for both initial training and refresher exercises. Instructors are able to adapt scenarios to suit varying experience levels, ensuring the facility delivers long-term value across multiple training programmes.
Safety and instructor control were key considerations throughout the design and installation process. The trainer allows exercises to be conducted in a realistic yet fully managed environment, supporting effective learning while maintaining clear oversight of trainee activity at all times.
The modular nature of the system also allows for future expansion, with the ability to introduce additional layouts, access points, or integrated training elements as operational requirements evolve.
This installation demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, practical training solutions for aviation and industrial environments. We are proud to have worked with Liverpool Airport on this project and to support the continued development of their training capabilities.
